📣 At SENTINET (Surveillance, Epidemiology, and New Technologies for Infectious Emerging Threats), a national research center of which Teresita Rocha is part, applications are open for postdoctoral researchers and early career researchers.

💡 SENTINET is a research center funded by the National Agency for Research and Development of Chile (ANID) through the Centers of Excellence for Research and Development of National Interest (CIN) program. Its goal is to become a rigorous, policy-oriented scientific platform that uses advanced surveillance systems, genomic-based diagnostics, and real-time data analytics to improve the detection, containment, treatment, and prevention of infectious disease threats.

The center is organized around three research areas:

🦠 Emerging and re-emerging infections with pandemic potential
🦠 Control strategies for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
🦠 Emergency preparedness and response

These areas are supported by seven interdisciplinary research cores (RC1–RC7).
