Antonia Díaz-Valdés Iriarte, PhD, MSW

Doctora en Trabajo Social por Boston College, EE. UU. Se ha desempeñado en funciones académicas, enseñando metodologías de investigación cuantitativa a estudiantes de pregrado y posgrado en universidades como Boston College y la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, entre otras. Ha realizado investigaciones con información primaria y secundaria en países como Chile, Guatemala y EE. UU., abordando diversas temáticas, tales como el cruce entre nutrición y alimentación escolar en alumnos de enseñanza básica, la adopción de formas de cocina más limpias en India, la edad de retiro, sus determinantes y su efecto en la salud y el bienestar del adulto mayor, sistemas de pensiones públicos y privados, el impacto del ejercicio en la salud del adulto mayor, y el uso/abuso de sustancias y su impacto en conductas suicidas en jóvenes. Su investigación busca generar un alto impacto en el diseño y evaluación de políticas públicas.
