Aiming to expand the global engagement of faculty and students and to create opportunities for mutual benefit, the Building Healthy Societies project promotes international research collaboration, research dissemination, and student and faculty mobility programs between the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health (MSPH) in New York and the Society and Health Research Center (CISS) at Universidad Mayor in Chile. Activities are facilitated by the Columbia Global Centers, Latin America | Santiago and often involve the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center.
The Research Fellow or Postdoctoral Researcher will be a member of a dynamic US-Chile collaboration team, and will work under the supervision of Dr. Esteban Calvo, CISS Director and MSPH Faculty, playing a critical role in developing, organizing, and leading research projects undertaken by the collaboration.
