The study, led by Edgardo Miranda, CISS researcher, involved 548 participants, including student teachers and practicing teachers. Results showed that the EEITT Scale has high validity and reliability, establishing itself as an innovative tool for researching and strengthening the teaching of emotional education.

Findings reveal that student teachers report greater socioemotional learning than practicing teachers, highlighting the need to promote educational policies that integrate emotional education in a continuous, cross-cutting, and sustainable way throughout the entire teaching career. This work opens new possibilities for understanding how socioemotional training impacts teaching practices and the building of more inclusive and resilient educational communities.
