Se publicó un paper títulado "Examining the Psychometric Properties of the Child PTSD Symptom Scale Within a Sample of Unaccompanied Immigrant Children in the United States" en la revista Journal of Loss and Trauma. En éste se buscó determinar prevalencia de PTSD en una muestra de migrante menores de edad llegados a EEUU sin tutor, y las propiedades psicométricas de la escala de síntomas de PTSD en niños. El investigador del CISS de la U Mayor, Dr. Alvaro Castillo Carniglia, participó en una publicación juntos a colegas de las Universidades de Nueva York y Columbia, en la que analizaron el efecto de las leyes que permiten el uso legal de cannabis para fines recreativos. Belen Febres-Cordero, from the Simon Fraser University, British Columbia and other researchers including Dr. Teresita Rocha Jiménez from the Society and Health Research at the Universidad Mayor just published a paper in which they analyze communication strategies to prevent HIV transmission and improve the sexual and reproductive health of female sex workers at the Mexico-Guatemala border.
